Pillar is the technical archeological term for the stone pillar used in Canaanites worship. It was also used for Architectural “pillar” or “column” in the tabernacle. Acacia wood pillar was overlaid with gold supported the screen and the entrance of the tabernacle and also the curtain of the Holies of Holies i.e. at the Altar. However, the pillar was the columns in the Philistine temple that Samson pulled down on the assembled crowd were “the two middle pillars upon which the house rested “(Judges 16:25, 26, 29). The pillars referred to in Ezekiel 40:49 were more likely pilasters. Esther 1:6 tells of the marble columns in the peers Palace of Susa. Jeremiah was to stand like an iron pillar against wicked Judah (Jer 1:18).

The wisdom built her house using the seven pillars of giving (Prov 9:1) with eternal investments there is never a loss of principal. By D.Jerm.

The outstanding figures used are the phrases, “Pillar of fire,” which symbolized Gods guiding presence over Israel through the wilderness journey (Exodus 13:21, 22; 33:9). Job spoke of God shaking the pillars of the earth (Job 9:6) and making the pillars of heaven tremble (26:11). It is used similarly in Hannah’s prayer, “the pillars are the LORD’s, and on them he has set the word” (1 Sam 2:8). We are using the seven perfect number of God as our spiritual and physical number in line with the fruits of the Holy Spirit where we have rooted the pillars. Therefore, these are the fruits of the holy spirit, Galatians 5:20-22): Faith, Hope, Love, Word of God, Prayer, Peace and Patience.
