BIBLE STUDY
FELLOWSHIP SUMMARY 5/9/2021
The Bible Study Fellowship
started by the grace of God on 5th September 2021 which was by
divine coincidence Bible Sunday Day in the Anglican Church of Kenya. It was a project of the Nazareth Cell Group
but has since been opened to all Christians of St. Andrew’s Church Ndenderu. We thank the Vicar and English
Service leadership for the support that has been accorded to us as we seek to
know God deeply.
Bible
study helps us to gain a better understanding of who God is and
His role in our lives. We have recognized
that the more we dive into God's word, the more His word changes us, and we
take the image of Christ.
The 5th September 2021
section recorded an attendance of 6 people from Nazareth Cell Group with the
Evangelist Sam Kahia as moderator. Our
hearts were never dulled by the reduced attendance but what God will inscribe
in our hearts through His word.

Evangelist Kahia has been all
ready, eager and passionate about the work of God. He has taught us among many other lessons,
i) Laid a foundation from Matthew 13:9 – “he who has ears, let him hear”..
ii) That choice
of bible matters; New King James Version is the recommended bible.
iii) Different
cults such as Jehovah Witness and Islam as well as books of the bible with
their authors.
iv) Legalists – those w ho live by law although we are in the era of grace.
The bible was inspired by God
through the Holy Spirit and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and
training in righteousness. For the both
sessions that have occurred, we have seen and heard the voice of God in our
lives. It’s exciting to continue all the BSF sessions for real
Transformation to take place through God’s word. Three motivational books are in the BSF vision and
mission – Mizizi, Ombi and Hatua.

The feedback received through
forms for which names were not to be revealed, had several prayer items of
which people were keen;
1.
To be
transformed in the word of God.
2.
For Spirit of discernment in the midst of the many
versions of the bible, some of which could be misleading.
3.
That God will allow time to start the BSF to the
end.
4.
Health, wealth and peace. Divine destiny
connections, being a blessing to others, prepare and pleasing God through my
actions.
5.
Holy Spirit inspiration to bear good fruits of the
growth of Jesus Christ. Many Christians
to join BSF and enjoy the benefits of knowing God more and be found in Him.
6. Prayer for all Nazarenes.

It is my humble appeal, that God
will reveal His word through the men and women in BSF group, for the glory of
His name. Let the ancient words
transform us and we become more like Him.
