The Sixth Mt. Kenya South Rt. Rev'd Canon Charles Muturi in a special service, confirmed 74 year old Peter Njau Kinuthia at ACK St. Peter’s Ndunyu.

The confirmation was graced by the Bishop of Kigali, Rt. Rev'd Nathan Amooti and the Bishop of Byumba Rt. Rev'd Emmanuel Ngenedahayo.

The service was convened by Ndunyu Area Dean Rev'd Edwin Kinyanjui assisted by Rev'd Monica Nungari, Rev'd Alexander Njau and Rev'd George Njenga. Evangelists and Lay Readers were in attendance.

"When prayers become your habit, miracles become your lifestyle." The Bishop urged pleading with Christians to cultivate a culture of prayer and meditation.

"Sin is sin even if everyone does it. Similarly right is right even if no one does it. Sin comes only to separate us from God.

Just a small slice of sin can cause a lifelong of misery for the devil comes to kill, steal, and destroy our lives and livelihoods. No wonder this is the season of self evaluation and repentance. May we use it wisely." Bishop Charles noted.

"The two other pillars of lent are denial and considering the needy among us. As we fast this season, let us be careful to spare what we save and give it to the poor. May this also be the season to visit and fellowship with the needy amongst us," He added.
