Diocese - BISHOP CHARLES VISITS DISTANT PARISHES IN KIBAUNI

Cruising for more than 100 kilometres from Machakos Town, The Archbishop's Commissary Rt. Rev'd Canon Charles Muturi crossed hills, plateaus, and valleys to reach Christians of ACK St. James Kiteteni Parish.

The Church has 10 Christians, with four of them in diaspora. All of them were originally Roman Catholic. The Children Ministry has 14 members.

The congregation is looking forward to finishing their sanctuary and vicarage.

"'Even youth lose their strength and grow weary, but those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength.' May God increase your strength and vision so you may achieve all that he has in store for us."

Bishop Charles urged them, highlighting attributes of the eagle:

  • Vision
  • Going against the wind
  • Knowing where to take our battles.

The Bishop was accompanied by Machakos Diocese Administrative Secretary Ven. Canon Benard Kitonga, Canon Kilonzo, Canon Mutiso, and Canon Matolo.

In his pastoral visit to Machakos Diocese Kibauni Archdeaconry Bishop Charles passed by ACK St. Andrew’s Itulani.
