Dear
Beloved in Christ,
Grace
and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
THE
JOURNEY (2019-2024)
When
I arrived at ACK St. Andrew’s Ndenderu in January 2019, I found the vision to
build a Mega Sanctuary, few could have imagined the magnificent structure that
stands before us today. Our journey began with a simple architectural sketch
and a seemingly insurmountable budget of Ksh. 45 Million, then 65 Million, and
Currently 100 Million. I vividly remember the mixture of excitement and
trepidation during that first fundraising Sunday when we raised Ksh. 10 Million
– a clear sign that God was already at work among us.
The
COVID-19 pandemic of 2020 tested our resolve, but remarkably, it became a
catalyst for innovation in our fundraising efforts. Our virtual harambees
reached Christians in the diaspora, and our weekly construction updates via
WhatsApp groups kept the momentum going even during lockdowns.

FUNDRAISING
INITIATIVES
Our
journey has been marked by innovative and sacrificial giving:

A
LIGHT MOMENT
One of my fondest memories was during the foundation laying ceremony when our eldest member during the launch, Cucu Watatua, insisted on laying her brick personally. At her 80’s, she climbed down into the foundation area, placed her brick, and declared,
"Now I can go home to glory knowing I've literally laid a foundation for my great-grandchildren's worship." We all laughed, but there wasn't a dry eye among us.
